HAPPY FALL FROM THE HUT!

Ober Tal Community Update • Fall 2026

A NOTE FROM BRETT

The grass is still green, the leaves are starting to turn quickly, and the property is beginning to welcome a few more visitors. After making it through my first winter, spring, and summer at Ober Tal, I’m happy to say I’ve truly enjoyed this new adventure and all that it has afforded me and my family. First and foremost, thank you — it has been a pleasure being here!

AROUND THE PROPERTY

●	Fireplaces & Chimneys Fireplaces and chimneys have been inspected. Overall, the process went very well. A small number of units need minor repairs, and those owners have been contacted. The remaining work will be completed soon.
●	Summer Renovations Several unit renovations have been underway in the A, D, E, and F buildings. Thank you for your patience as we continue working with contractors to keep the final stretch as seamless as possible, with the goal of completing the work before the season officially begins in November.
●	Boilers A handful of boiler replacements have taken place, and boilers that were not included in last year’s cleaning rotation have been serviced this summer.
●	Property Improvements We have completed several window replacements, along with much-needed tree work, roof repairs, painting projects, and a small amount of siding repair.
●	Parking Lots & Lighting The parking lots were recently graded and are much smoother to drive through than they were at the end of the season. The tall parking-lot light posts have also been straightened and secured after winter snow-removal damage, then scraped and painted.

NEW WEBSITE COMING SOON Our new website is receiving its final touches and will launch soon. It will help us stay in touch more frequently and give owners easier access to Ober Tal community updates and notices.

THE HUT The exterior of The Hut — my office — received a little TLC and is looking great. Please stop in to check in and say hello whenever you’re back on the property.

• COMMUNITY CONNECTION

●	Maple Syrup Sundaes We enjoyed hosting maple syrup sundaes a couple of times this winter and spring and look forward to more community-connection gatherings at The Hut in the months ahead and next season.
●	Contractor Appreciation Cookout In July, we hosted a contractor appreciation cookout at The Hut to thank the companies and employees who take such good care of Ober Tal and our community throughout the year. It was very well attended, much appreciated, and a lot of fun to host.

• SEASONAL REMINDERS

BEAR & DUMPSTER REMINDER

The neighborhood dumpster bears are still lurking, so please be mindful of your safety. Place all trash in the trash dumpster and recyclables only in the recycling dumpster, and make sure both are closed and secured after use.

COMING TO THE WEBSITE

Watch for additional reminders and updates on renovation procedures, mini-split requests, Board information and reports, and seasonal community guidelines such as gas-grill reminders.
